I have discovered so much about what my skin likes and it tends to go for organic products. I find that organic ranges are so much kinder to my skin.
The Evolve Beauty range of organic, vegan and cruelty free products is a discovery from a blogging event, which I have not regretted since picking up the samples. I started using this range as part of my bridal skin care routine. This is not like any other skin care range that I have ever used or tested.
The older I get the more I worry about skincare and the products I use. With extremely sensitive skin and allergies to everything in life, I tend to stick to the products I know work for me and those which are organic and natural (most of the times).
So! Lets talk about the products that I have been loving/ obsessing over the last year.
Skincare is such an important part of our everyday lives and people go in search for that perfect skincare product or routine to achieve beautiful, smooth healthy skin. I am one of those people, constantly in search of products to make my skin smooth, plump, soft etc.
I knew when I was getting married that I was going to be doing my own make up. I mean I am a makeup artist.
It is one thing working on a client than it is working on yourself. On a Client, you know exactly what foundation your going to use (usually a MAC or a well know brand) or the Client will tell you what they want. However, when your doing your own make up, you become so picky about the foundation and products you will use, to create that perfect look. I don’t know why this is, but you drive yourself completely mad looking for the perfect base. The base is the make or break of the rest of the makeup, you get the base right and everything else will fall into place.
Who in the world does not know about Glam Glow! Even though I have heard of this brand being spoken about on every Youtube and social media channel, I had never tried it myself; not because I had didnt wanted to but because up until recently, it was harder to get this in the UK. Shipping cost are murder.
As I get older, I think I have become more aware of how my skins ages. It’s inevitable! so why not start taking care of your skin now and fight the signs of ageing early. I have been using anti ageing creams for a year now, I mean a great defence is a good offence (or something like that).
I was so excited to be have been picked for this months Influenster Voxbox x Bourjois Paris. Its my first one and I think the box lived up to its social media hype. I was so grateful to receive this complementary box from Influenster.
The box itself contains 12 lipsticks by Bourjois Paris known as the Rouge Velvet Lipstick collection. The shade ranges from nude to darker red/browns, it is such a beautiful collection to receive. I also received the Bourjois Paris Miraculous Contour Universal Lip Liner and Primer, which I have never heard of and so was excited to try it.
Dermacol Makeup Cover foundation took social media by storm, everyone wanted to try the ‘worlds most full coverage and waterproof foundation’, but was it just a gemic? Instagram literally made me buy this foundation, but at the same time I too, really wanted to test the claims of this innovative foundation.
It claims that it can literally cover tattoos and skin pigmentation and it contains 50% pigmentation in that small tube. What intrigued me the most was the claims that it could cover dark circles, without the need to colour correct. I have extremely dark under eyes, which without colour correcting would look ashy under a concealer, so for me that would be the biggest test of all. Could this foundation really be that amazing that it would cover even my dark circles.
